DigitalGlobe must have had an idea and, thanks to their Daily Overview project, we can all appreciate views of the Earth that were once reserved for astronauts alone. Inspired by the overview effect, the experience of seeing firsthand the Earth in space and thinking about things such as international conflict from a different perspective, DigitalGlobe will share a new satellite photograph a day.
